"Contributing to the Community" with an older people’s group
Number of participants: 20
Ethnic backgrounds: White British
Age range: 60-96
An Age Concern Group in Shrewsbury produced this tree to represent their 'idea' of community. The green apples represent what the ideal community should provide, whereas the rotten apples represent the undesirable aspects of the community.
The workshop encouraged participants to explore the common values they share and the part they can play in building a self-confident community.
